Case Investigation & Close Contact Tracing

The New Zealand Ministry of Health has developed these learning modules to prepare new staff to do Covid-19 contact tracing.

There are 2 programs split into 4 modules, each module takes 20min to complete:

​

  • Communicable Disease Surveillance and Control

  • Aotearoa's Disease Outbreak Response

  • Fundamentals of Case Investigation and Close Contact Tracing

  • Effective Communication Skills for Case Investigation and Close Contact Tracing 

 

Students will learn about how case investigation is done, including how to build rapport with cases, identify their contacts, and support cases to stop transmission in their communities.
